Meir Ben-Shachar

Meir was born in Israel in 1971. He holds a LL.B (with Honors) and a Masters in Commercial Law (LL.M) from Bar-Ilan University.

Meir joined the Israeli Lawyers Bar in 2000 and started his legal career as a trainee in J. Gurnitzky & Co. Law Offices. Meir joined J. Shem-Tov Law Offices in 2002 as an associate, and he was made a partner in January 2006.

Meir specializes in commercial litigation, commercial law, corporate and securities law and he advises clients on complex business transactions, mergers, acquisitions, public offerings and projects in the field of infrastructure. Meir also represents clients in the courts of all instances in connection with a wide range of commercial litigation matters.

Meir has served as a teaching assistant at Bar-Ilan University, and since 2002 he teaches Contract Law in The Open University.
